Is green tea the source of healthiness?
Atara said that it’s
not just the green tea, but all the food in Japan is fresh and the ingredients
are always maintained to be of high quality. He added that there’s less
preservatives in the food that makes it better for consumption. He was actually
surprised that Malaysian food has a lot of flavour and the green tea is also
SWEET! (gaining weight was unavoidable in Malaysia). He said he gained 8kg coming here.
How about the tea ceremony in Japan??
Atara mentioned that tea ceremony includes a variety of
wagashi. Tea ceremony is a tradition where the lady who prepares the tea is high etiquettes.

What about your Eid Atara? He mentioned that during Eid
there’s nothing much to celebrate but it is replaced with New Year’s Eve, just
like every Japanese does. This cultural celebration is unique with lights,
special dresses and food. During this festive season, they would be enjoying
the delicious Ringo Ame (apple coated toffee on a stick). Yumms! It’s a tradition there.
There’s also dango and mochi too.
